Pink bunny ATC and mini amigurumi bunny

I know I'm neglecting this blog horribly. First I was simply lazy, but in August I started a new work and while I finally got my inspiration back, I'm just too tired all the time to craft.

But last week I finally pulled myself together and made mimchan her little bunny I promised her months ago (or was it already a year???)

If I had done this properly, one could wear it as a necklace or something. I also made a fitting ATC...sadly I rushed that one, too. Now I wish I had taken more time.

Yes...even more ATCs! They are like the only things I'm able to finish with my lack of motivation.

ATCs

Wow...it's been quite a while since I had something to post.

I'm so honored that I was able to swap with Kira from http://www.oopsicraftmypants.com/ I LOVE her crafts and she is the reason I got interested in Inchies and ATCs and craftster.org in the first place.

I made a few ATCs and send her the ones I liked best :P

Most turned out really plain. I wish I did some better with the cross-stitch toucan...it looks so boring, especially with so much white space left on the top.

What's worse? They look so lame compared to the ones I received from Kira.

The Goonies ATC - Chunk

I love this movie and Chunk is so cute :)


Done with pencils and coverd with clear acrylic laquer. It's a great way to seal the colors and make it more durable. Depending on how many layers you use it gives the picture a nice shine.

My little Pony ATCs - Applejack and Fluttershy

They were pretty fun and easy to draw :)



Maybe I'll do some of the other characters, too. Or some 80s ponies!

Fairy Tale ATCs

Sorry, I'm so very unproductive and lazy at the moment :(

The only thing I can share are these fairy tale ATCs I already made in february. I made them for the ongoing ATC swap and somehow forgot to post them.



The one on top is based on a fairy tale by the Grimm brothers. It's called 'The twelve brothers' and not really much known. Then I HAD to make one of my favourite fairy tale 'The little mermaid' by Andersen. So sad! And last but not least 'Frau/Mother Holle'. My ATCs are always so boring...so I wanted to make at least one with mixed media.

ATCs

The first two ATCs I made for the last months ongoing ATC swap. The themes were Manga and fantasy. The character on the orange ATC is Tsuruga Ren from the Manga Skip Beat! I'm not really familiar with the series, but that's nothing a google image search and wikipedia can't fix :p

Wow....scanning really changes the colors alot.

Yesterday I finished my bookmarks for the bookmark swap and I today have to finish two ATCs. Yay~

The first ATCs of the year

Two were "left-overs" from last year I finished up. The ones with the cats didn't turn out as good as I wanted to...I got a bit crazy with slapping more and more color on ^^;
Sorry for the pad photos, I took them fast before sending the cards away. They have a good home now =D

Videogame ATC - "B" - Berserk and Breath of Fire 2

I didn't get a rating for this one either and actually the ATC for me didn't arrive yet either. I guess the guest offices are already busy with christmas stuff.

Well, I choose a classic "Berserk". I cut the motif and the letters with a small cutter and glued it on a golden background.
The other is a character (Katt or Rinpoo) from the Snes RPG Breath of Fire 2 that I fell in love with when it came out.





Sadly, with so much time to worry about I can't really get into christmas mood even though it's my favourite season in the year.

Nintendo - Super Mario ATC

I didn't get a rating, but well..it's been so long so I post them anyway

Kingdom Hearts ATC

For a Videogame ATC swap I chose Kingdom Hearts because my partner had an avatar from it. I only played the first game for like 30minutes, so I'm not really familiar with the characters. After I was nearly finished I messed up the colors and had to redo both of them. That's why they look to very rushed.



I still think they turned out okay... I guess. I like the colors at last.

Kanji Inchies + ATC

The swap was for 6 Inchies depicting Kanji. I made the extra ATC because I thought it fitted the theme ^^; I made everything really fast...now I wish I took a bit more time instead of chosing quantity over quality. Since I studied Japanese as a major I should be able to write cleaner than that.
I stillkinda like them. I love the butterfly stamp that I got for 50cents. I need to use it more often!

Videogame ATC - "A" - Assassins Creed & Alundra

Since they arrived I can post them now ^^

It's so hard to guess what kind of video games a person likes if it isn't clearly stated. I mean...Mario or Tetris everyone knows, many only play sports games and a FPS of their choice, some only play new stuff others only old stuff.



Since I didn't really know I chose first Assassins Creed because it's really popular. I don't own a X-Box 360 or a PS3 so I never played it. I wanted to try out something different for the ATC and I kinda like how it turned out even though it lacks contrast and is quite boring.
I did an extra ATC to include a game I actually played. Alundra was one of the earlier PSOne games. An old-style action RPG with a nice atmosphere. The ATC didn't turn out so nice though...I dunno >_<;

ATC - "Pearl"

Another random hand-drawn ATC. The scan turned out bad >__<



I signed up for a few new swaps. Next are Inchies with kanji symbols and then 3 different videogame related ATC swaps. Yay~!

Shadowrun ATC

Inspired by Shadowrun. I did this some time ago but only added colors today. I messed up the background so I fixed it by making it as dark as possible.

The neck is too long but I like the cold colors...so...I guess it's okay.

Space Invaders ATC

I haven't posted in a while...

Here is a anotehr game related ATC I finished today (Well...I made it like two weeks ago and just added the silver color today). It's very simple but you can move the little space ship =D




The Tiny Book swap gives me headaches...I'm so,so,so worried that it won't turn out right...and there is just one more week left =(
