Fairy Tale ATCs

Sorry, I'm so very unproductive and lazy at the moment :(

The only thing I can share are these fairy tale ATCs I already made in february. I made them for the ongoing ATC swap and somehow forgot to post them.

The one on top is based on a fairy tale by the Grimm brothers. It's called 'The twelve brothers' and not really much known. Then I HAD to make one of my favourite fairy tale 'The little mermaid' by Andersen. So sad! And last but not least 'Frau/Mother Holle'. My ATCs are always so boring...so I wanted to make at least one with mixed media.

Thanks for looking!

ATCs

The first two ATCs I made for the last months ongoing ATC swap. The themes were Manga and fantasy. The character on the orange ATC is Tsuruga Ren from the Manga Skip Beat! I'm not really familiar with the series, but that's nothing a google image search and wikipedia can't fix :p

Bookmark

Yay~ it already arrived!
I made this cardstock bookmark and a matching bookthong for the bookmark swap round 5 at craftster.org. At first I was at a loss what to make because I didn't know the books she mentioned, but after some stalking I got a few ideas =)

I crocheted the cupcake with a 0.6 hook and sewing yarn. I had to redo parts of it three times because I just couldn't get the pattern right ^^;

Well...I had fun making them =)

Videogame ATC - "B" - Berserk and Breath of Fire 2

I didn't get a rating for this one either and actually the ATC for me didn't arrive yet either. I guess the guest offices are already busy with christmas stuff.

Well, I choose a classic "Berserk". I cut the motif and the letters with a small cutter and glued it on a golden background.
The other is a character (Katt or Rinpoo) from the Snes RPG Breath of Fire 2 that I fell in love with when it came out.

Sadly, with so much time to worry about I can't really get into christmas mood even though it's my favourite season in the year.

Nintendo - Super Mario ATC

I didn't get a rating, but well..it's been so long so I post them anyway

Nothing special, nothing creative...hmm oo

Kingdom Hearts ATC

For a Videogame ATC swap I chose Kingdom Hearts because my partner had an avatar from it. I only played the first game for like 30minutes, so I'm not really familiar with the characters. After I was nearly finished I messed up the colors and had to redo both of them. That's why they look to very rushed.

I still think they turned out okay... I guess. I like the colors at last.

Kanji Inchies + ATC

The swap was for 6 Inchies depicting Kanji. I made the extra ATC because I thought it fitted the theme ^^; I made everything really fast...now I wish I took a bit more time instead of chosing quantity over quality. Since I studied Japanese as a major I should be able to write cleaner than that.
I stillkinda like them. I love the butterfly stamp that I got for 50cents. I need to use it more often!

Inchie Color Swap - 6 - Purple

Aaaand the last one. I tried a few different things...overall... I think I quite like them ^^;

Life's not really nice atm, so I'm not really in crafting mood. I hope I can still motivate myself to do something...

Inchie Color Swap - 5 - Blue

I like these better than the last ones :) This version with a mini-origami crane is my favourite and this time I didn't mess up the flowers with a horrible background.

Inchie Color Swap - 4 - Green

And green! I think they are my least favourite :/ I was so happy because I had four-leaved clovers but I completely messed those Inchies up.

Inchie Color Swap - 3 - Yellow

And next is yellow. I actually don't like them all that much :/ Those flowers are real ones, but they didn't look so nice after being pressed. I kidna like the turtle and penguins though. It's fun drawing cute little stuff ^^

Inchie Color Swap - 2 - Orange

The next Inchie swap. Again three Inchies for two partner...but I ended up doing twice as much. I recycled the open-up flower one and the crochet flower one. I know, I know ... the second swap and already runnign out of ideas :p
I kinda liked the mini origami-crane one...so I used that one for other colors, too.

Inchie Color Swap - 1 - Red

This is a swap from like 3 months ago. It was the first one from a small series consisting of 6 swaps (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple). I was so lame and recycled a few ideas, but now that all the swaps are over it's save for me to finally post pics.

This was the third swap I've ever done on swap-bot (the first one was the private amulet bag swap with miriam and the second swap was a simple postcard swap) so I was kinda nervous. Those were also one of the first Inchies I've ever done... I remember that I was actually kinda proud of them even though they are not that special.

Three Inchies for two partner. I thought I can't just send three Inchies so I made those ATCs to send along after studying my partners profiles. Leeloo from the movie the "Fifth Element" and a Borzoi dog.

I somehow really like the space cat one. The flowers were crocheted by me and those flowers can be opened (I used them for the other colors, too till I couldn't see them anymore ^^; )

That's how I send the Inchies. They are secured and still can be easily removed. The same for the ATCs. I only did this for the red Inchies though since I did not add ATCs for the other swaps.

I'll post the other colors the next few days ^^

One Tiny Book Swap

I'm so very, very, very glad my partner likes the book =D I was so nervous, especially after seeing all the awesome books the other swappers made. It's so much fun to see the gallery fill up.

Well...here is my book. I choose a Tim Burton-esque style and wanted to include stuff like little 3d-effects, doors to open and the like. I had the most fun with the drawings as I'm a bit more confident with drawing and it's really fun to draw in this style.

The cover looks a bit plain...but I'm really bad at drawing buildings and this was already my 4th try ^^;

Edward Scissorhands =D

Took like forever to cut them all out. I wanted the eyes to be mirrors, but it didn't work out so well :/

I saw a butterfly greeting card with this neat and easy 3d-effect. The thing here looks like it's been put together by a madman though ^^;; I should have drawn a nicer moth with more details.

This was actually the first page I decided on. There is no meaning behind it or anything... Somehow I seem to have a thing for creepy eye-thingies.

This page is even stranger ^^;; It looked so empty so I added more an more things...I just didn't plan it properly.

Another easy efect for greeting cards. Turned out better than I expected to be honest =D

The hairs took forever to draw...the flowers can be opened :)

This is from the book Coraline from Neil Gaiman. I kina like this page even though it is plain and my handwriting isn't the nicest.

And the back. I got this butterfly stamp super-cheap second-hand. The "frame" isn't glued on on the top so that other pictures can be simply put in.
The bookend is fabric (left-over from some black jeans that got shortened ^^), so it's quite flexibel and durable.

And here is the gallery for this wonderful swap on craftster.org - > http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=390637.0

Button fairy with bird wings - swap

I like ATCs and Inchies but even that can get boring after a while. A wanted to do something different and signed up for this fun little swap.

At first I was worried because I never made a button fairy before, but they are actually quite easy to do ^^

The wings of the red haired fairy are moveable.

The next swaps are the last two parts of the Inchie-Color swaps. First blue and then violet. There is also a Retro Videogame ATC-swap that I'm looking forward to :)

Final Fantasy Character ATC Swap

Another fun swap. When I saw it I just had to join, especially since the rules said ANY title of the series was okay (everybody had to name 3 characters he or she would like to recieve).
I got really lucky because my partner named Fujin, Raijin and Ultimecia from Final Fantasy 8. I used to be like totally into FF8 and Fujin and Raijin belonged to my favourite characters, too =3
Drawing those I remembered how much I was into the game. Fun memories ^^

Still, I'm not happy how these turned out :/ Raijins face is a bit crooked...and well...both are really plain.
My partner liked them though, so they are not that bad, I guess :p
Hmm...looking at them now...they really could be better >__<;

6 kawaii Inchie - swap

A recent swap. I really had fun making those. I made two extra and I still had tons of ideas :3

Somehow I like the cat-cactus best. Next time I need to do a bunny-cactus :p

kawaii ATC - swap

Here are the ATCs I made for this swap. Chocobo form the Final Fantasy games, Disney's Stitch and some jellyfish! They were really fun to make =D .

The Stitch blowing bubbles and the jelly-fish ones were for one partner and the Chocobo one was for the other partner. I included the turtle Postcard, too because I can't simply send one person two cards and the other only one ^^;

The jelly fish are so easy to draw and lately I love to do rainbow backgrounds. For the Chocobo (when I saw a picture of a baby Chocobo I HAD to include it =D ) and Stitch I had to use a reference picture though.

Actually I like how the ATCs turned out. (Yay~!)

Yesterday I send my Inchies for the Green Inchie swap and a kawaii Inchie swap. Now I'm working on a button fairy and wish to send it asap and then no more swaps for me for one or two weeks!

I've gotten such nice comments and ratings lately ;o; That's so encouraging! It's such a nice feeling hearing that there are people who like something I made (self-confidence +100!).

Sailor Mars ATC

I wasn't sure if I should post this or not. 1. I never recieved a rating 2. I'm not so happy how these turned out.
But 1. I should haved arrived weeks ago and I doubt it's a spoiler to anyone 2. They are not horrible...I just could have done better :/

I actually never was a big Sailor Moon Fan, but it's still very nostalgic to me. If you like it or not everyone kinda knows the characters. Also there is just something magical about short skirts, long legs and ribbons o.o;
