Inchie Book - Cat

I FINALLY did my first Inchie book. I made it as a little last minute extra... I wish I didn't rush it that much, it could have turned out much better.

Oh, well... the next ones WILL be better ^^

Someone should kick me... I used to sew so much, but haven't sewn in such a long time now. Somehow I can't bring myself to simply start even though the sewing machine is standing only 2m away from me.

Kanji Inchies + ATC

The swap was for 6 Inchies depicting Kanji. I made the extra ATC because I thought it fitted the theme ^^; I made everything really fast...now I wish I took a bit more time instead of chosing quantity over quality. Since I studied Japanese as a major I should be able to write cleaner than that.
I stillkinda like them. I love the butterfly stamp that I got for 50cents. I need to use it more often!

black & white Inchies

My motivation and creativity is like non-existing at the moment. ): In these phases the only thing I seem to be able to do are inchies. Hmm...I should try some real zentangles next.

Inchie Color Swap - 6 - Purple

Aaaand the last one. I tried a few different things...overall... I think I quite like them ^^;

Life's not really nice atm, so I'm not really in crafting mood. I hope I can still motivate myself to do something...

Inchie Color Swap - 5 - Blue

I like these better than the last ones :) This version with a mini-origami crane is my favourite and this time I didn't mess up the flowers with a horrible background.

Inchie Color Swap - 4 - Green

And green! I think they are my least favourite :/ I was so happy because I had four-leaved clovers but I completely messed those Inchies up.

Inchie Color Swap - 3 - Yellow

And next is yellow. I actually don't like them all that much :/ Those flowers are real ones, but they didn't look so nice after being pressed. I kidna like the turtle and penguins though. It's fun drawing cute little stuff ^^

Inchie Color Swap - 2 - Orange

The next Inchie swap. Again three Inchies for two partner...but I ended up doing twice as much. I recycled the open-up flower one and the crochet flower one. I know, I know ... the second swap and already runnign out of ideas :p
I kinda liked the mini origami-crane one...so I used that one for other colors, too.

Inchie Color Swap - 1 - Red

This is a swap from like 3 months ago. It was the first one from a small series consisting of 6 swaps (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple). I was so lame and recycled a few ideas, but now that all the swaps are over it's save for me to finally post pics.

This was the third swap I've ever done on swap-bot (the first one was the private amulet bag swap with miriam and the second swap was a simple postcard swap) so I was kinda nervous. Those were also one of the first Inchies I've ever done... I remember that I was actually kinda proud of them even though they are not that special.

Three Inchies for two partner. I thought I can't just send three Inchies so I made those ATCs to send along after studying my partners profiles. Leeloo from the movie the "Fifth Element" and a Borzoi dog.

I somehow really like the space cat one. The flowers were crocheted by me and those flowers can be opened (I used them for the other colors, too till I couldn't see them anymore ^^; )

That's how I send the Inchies. They are secured and still can be easily removed. The same for the ATCs. I only did this for the red Inchies though since I did not add ATCs for the other swaps.

I'll post the other colors the next few days ^^

6 kawaii Inchie - swap

A recent swap. I really had fun making those. I made two extra and I still had tons of ideas :3

Somehow I like the cat-cactus best. Next time I need to do a bunny-cactus :p

Pink bunny ATCs and Inchies

I doodled around and this is the result. Nothing special but really fun to do =D

Today arrived both letters with Inchies from the red Inchie swap! I'm so happy. It's really fun to get letters and the Inchies look great together =D

I started doing ATCs for a vintage swap yesterday, but I'm not quite happy with the results yet. Still need a bit pratice I think...I'll do a bunch of them and send the one I like the most!

Inchies!

Not two months ago I did'nt know what inchies were...and now I'm addicted!
They are 1 Inch x 1 Inch (2,6cm x 2,6cm) pieces of artwork, or, well, anything I guess

The animals were the first few I ever did and was just experimenting around. And then there is the fat little Dragon =D After singing, he gets tired and sometimes when he gets a little romantic he loves watching the sun set.

They are done with a fine waterproof liner and colored with water and aquarell colors. It's quite difficult because of the small size, especially when the colors start bleeding together. Maybe I should add a few more details with pencils.

I started a bigger inchie "project" but that will take some more time. Maybe I can finish it next week. It's something videogame related :) I hope it turns out okay.
I'd also love to experiment a bit more with other materials and not just simple painting.
