Mini amigurumi doll

This year was the most busy year I've ever had. I moved into a new apartment, work has been extremely busy as well.
I used to spend so much time online and this year real life got in the way....which is awesome, I guess :D

Which is more sad is, that I couldn't find time to craft, too...but paying the rent and housework is more important. Isn't it sad to be an adult? ;)

Still I have something litle to show. My crocheting skills have become really rusty...so I apologize in advance for the outcome.
Well, here's a little amigurumi doll I did for a friend. I promised to make her one months ago (I notice a pattern....) and finally finished it.
Without clothes....next time I need to make the neck thinner. But please notice the thumbs up ;)
And with her dress. I wanted to make a Kimono at first, but to sew that tiny made me drive crazy, so I kept it simple.
Thanks for looking

Mini-Amigurumi unicorn with sparkly match box home!

Wow...I promised a mirco amigirumi uncorn to a friend like a year ago and finally I finished it!
Actually I can't crochet very well and I'm bad with patterns. I used a newborn guinea pig pattern I found here : http://www.ravely.com/people/Luna1130 and simply changed it in the back and made different ears.

The feet are just little bobbles which makes it way easier. I always find it very difficult to crochet little parts and attach them.
I altered a match box with fabric, buttons, pearls and lots of nail polishand glue. After all this tiny unicorn needs a proper home.
It was really fun to simply mess around with the different materials even though it came out very differnt to what I had planned. The little book was made and bound by my boyfriend and I just glittered it up :D

Pink bunny ATC and mini amigurumi bunny

I know I'm neglecting this blog horribly. First I was simply lazy, but in August I started a new work and while I finally got my inspiration back, I'm just too tired all the time to craft.

But last week I finally pulled myself together and made mimchan her little bunny I promised her months ago (or was it already a year???)

If I had done this properly, one could wear it as a necklace or something. I also made a fitting ATC...sadly I rushed that one, too. Now I wish I had taken more time.

Thanks for looking! :)

Spider Bookthong

Made for the Harry Potter craftalong at craftster.org ! It was supposed to be a quick simple project, but I totaly messed it up. Somehow I failed to figure out how to crochet a spider web. At first I wanted to do a necklace, but it ended up as a simple bookthong because I just couldn't figure the pattern out.
Hmm....I'm not so happy how it turned out, but at least I've done something :P

Mini-Mini Amigurumi bunny

I made it for a small private swap. This bunny is nothing new as I already made a few of them, but this time I made him a small bunny tail :p Somehow I never did this with the bunnies I made before.

pink bunny and altered match box

It's been months since I've done a mini-amigurumi and also months since I last did an altered match box.

Since I love pink bunnies I did this little fellow and a carrot to keep it happy ^^

But it also needs a place to live, so I made a little room in a match box. I made the striped and checkboard pattern, printed it and simply glued it on. I added a bit of black water color to give it a used look. The box itself is covered in black jeans fabric and a little lace at the bottom.

The furniture is made out of normal paper covered in acrylic lacquer. The table is cardstock and wire for the legs.

Like (nearly) always I didn't spend a cent making this =)

Thanks for looking!

New amigurumi

After I spend hours yesterday figuring out how to save the cross stitch pattern I wanted to do something else and finished those three cuties :)

I actually don't like how the bunnies turned out. I think I made a few mistakes and I kinda messed up their faces... >-> At least they are one of a kind XD

I went to the flea market today. I bought a few vintage postcards that were quite expensive... And I don't think I'll use them for ATCs since they are genuine post cards with written text and all. The text is really hard to read but I want to try to deciver it...I'd feel really bad cutting up a personal text somehow ^^;
I also got a figure display case for 3€!!! There were still some figures inside. Some porcelain cats, snails and a rabit, as well as some tin stuff! I wanted a display case so badly after I saw so many beautyful modified ones at craftster!

Mini-Amigurumi

Done with a 0.6mm hook and normal sewing yarn.

I saw tiny amigurumi at etsy and was completely awed by them. I had to try them out, too! There are also practical for me because I have tons and tons of sewing thread and nearly no crotched yarn. I love cheap!

Kitty! I wish I used different yarn...it was the first one of the bunch I did and I used thicker, more stiff yarn because it was easier to deal with.

Chick without the egg shell.

And the owl. The eyes and the feet were the hardest part >->

My newest one is this little turtle. I think he turned out very cute :3

Right now I'm doing some bunnies and want to finish another turtle next.
But I'm so very slow...I can't crotchet at all if I'm not in the mood.
